Obama Is Evil
A few days ago I overheard someone discussing the elections with another person over the phone. Now, this person was speaking quite loudly, so it’s not as if I was eavesdropping. It provided me with the rare opportunity to figure out what political party this person backs. Now, I’ve heard of people who do not like Obama, either they do not like what he stands for, they don’t think he’s qualified enough, etc. But this person was talking about Obama like he’s going to bring the end of the world. I’d never heard harsher terms directed at him. In the meantime I’m thinking to myself, what is this person talking about? Obama’s just another guy with a fresh perspective, what’s so bad about that?
Republicans in the ideal would prefer less government to more. This person made that perfectly clear: he/she does not want more government in his/her life. I can understand that. However, I think it’s incredibly selfish to say that government should stay out of people’s lives. The government is there to protect us. Without government survival of the fittest would surely kick in and then wouldn’t everyone just have a blast… Anyhow, there are those that need the government’s protection. I mean we’re not paying taxes into the system for nothing, right? Those who haven’t been able to find a job in a while (and yes it can happen, and no those people are not being lazy) need government action to help them. The poor need the government’s assistance to pull them out of the downward spiral they are in. There are always going to be those less fortunate than ourselves, we can either let them drown or help them up. How is helping others the end of the world?
Yes Obama is going to try to change the status quo America has set up for itself. Yes change can be scary, especially to the older folks, but it shouldn’t have to be that way. No one who has run for the office of the presidency in the United States has been evil in my lifetime. Everyone has good intentions, and yet bias gets in the way of people’s thinking, as do emotions. Fear comes from misunderstandings, misconceptions, and from ignorance. To be fearful of Obama is to be misinformed as to who he is. Here is my advice: read up on every candidate running for office. Especially focus on McCain and Obama but it wouldn’t hurt to look up the candidates running on the libertarian ticket or another independent ticket. If anything, it’ll help you to sound a little more intelligent if you ever need to go toe-to-toe with someone in a political debate.

The most important thing to me is a good economy and a safe country. I also value freedom of speech and freedom to own property.
The reason for my current support of Obama is his more moderate position on foreign affairs. We don’t need another damn war and that is what McCain will give us.

Thanks for commenting! Although I don’t think McCain will necessarily give us another war, I do know that Obama is definitely in the more moderate position concerning foreign affairs.

For all of Obama’s hope for the change he lacks specifics. America’s staus quo is founded upon individualism not collectivism – the direction Obama will take the county especially with Pelosi and Reid heading up congress. We don’t need to go into the long-term success of collectivist models do we?
As for this moderate foreign policy stuff, Russia is led by an old KGB man who is the most effective leader in all of the world – think about the word effective based on when Putin came to power years ago against Russia’s postionn today. Putin would put Obama & his lawyer pals through a meatgrinder – and the whole of the Western World would suffer serious consequence. Their US law school education makes them weak when confronted by an ex-KGB officer who’ll negotiate from the follwoing position: ‘What’s mine is mine and what’s yours is negotiable.’

Yep, agreed. I’ve seen far more people capitalize Obama’s middle name than McCain’s. I just… don’t get it. I wonder if all of the Hussein’s in this country are outraged?

From all I’ve heard & read about Obama being raised a Muslim, & still having Muslim ties, I can not see why any American cannot see past his gift of gab. His plan to give all illegal aliens a drivers lic. & offer a US citizenship is unthinkable. I have been a Democrat all my life….but not for this Election. I hope the American people wake up before it’s too late.

Four years ago I worked on the Kerry campaign. We had a Kerry bumper sticker on our car. We stopped to an afternoon at a local park along Lake Michgan and someone placed a paper plate on our windshield with the comment, “You are unAmerican. Get out of this country if you don’t like it.” My husband has been a Marine for 18 years. We love, and he has fought for his country through VietNam and Beruit. Just because someone does not believe the same way you do, or worship the same way, does not make them “evil,” or “the enemy.” Only ignorant people make judgements based on race, religion, ethnicity or political persuation. Only through education can people come together and understand each other, and then they will find they are not that much different – except for personal philosophy. There are good and evil in every political movement, and even within families.
Obama was born in the U.S. (Hawaii) and McCain was not – he was born in a military family in Panama. Each of them are Americans. We have Muslim Americans, just as we have Catholic or Protestant Americans, and that does not make them any less American. Although Obama is NOT, nor ever has been a Muslim, so what??? There are a lot of Americans who are not “Christian,” and they are good, hard-working people who love their country. Get a grip and stop being so judgemental of what you do not understand. Take the time to get to know Muslims, Jews and others. Christians (and Yes, I am one) are the most judgemental people on the face of the earth. WWJD? He would not judge!

I heard this writer who was a guest on a radio talk show say that he used to teach at the same university that Obama used to teach say that Obama does like people who disagrees with him. He also said that Obama does not believe that people should be allowd to own their ow guns. And I personally know that Obama is not a Christian, he’s a muslim. Obama is a big arrogant liar, and he is going to destroy this country. I also think he is the antichrist.

Your beliefs about him being a liar and what he will do to this country however are your own, and I do appreciate the comment. I know there are a few people who have plenty of concerns about Obama and I will not go so far as to say there is nothing to be concerned about.

Lisa Juarez…..what was that all about? First of all, don’t type everything in caps. Thats very rude. Second, this country belongs to all Americans, not just the Christians. We need a President who stands for ALL the people, not just the christians. You believe in the bible? I do not. Not one bit. Do I think we should elect a president who will force all bibles to be burned and church’s burned down? Of course not. Every American has the freedom to believe what they will and I will fight and die to protect that, even the beliefs I don’t agree with, even the ones I REALLY can’t stand.
About the bible in schools. They do not teach it because it has nothing worth teaching. If you could find somebody to teach it from a historical point, about how some people have believed the stories through different ages, then ok. Problem is, you can’t find that, people want to press their own beliefs and ideas in there, so, better to just leave the bible out all together.

Obama’s home in Chicago costs almost 3 million dollars…. If he cares so dang much as he lies and says he does, and Bush, and Clinton and all the other elite government puppets who are members of pagan, luciferian cults, than why do i have to sit and cry as I am made to painfully choose between over 15 Native “TRUE” American tribes to donate much needed funds I can’t afford to buy food, clothes, blankets, water, and even support suicidal hotlines these ones who shatter my heart? HUH? They are true, original Americans and they don’t read the bible or pray to Jesus… Yet, I go without to give so they can eat!! Where’s their socialist bailout plan?
A true American is one who will fight tooth and nail to keep America free and full of liberty and justice for all… I would die for any one of you.. Great, small, rich or poor.. Christian or not….

If any of you think that B. Hussein Obama is a nice moderate guy who just wants to try some new ideas, then you prove Winston Churchill right when he said that if you’re not liberal when you’re young, you have to heart, but if you’re not conservative when you’re grow up, you have NO BRAIN!.
